West Coast Premiere of “Searching for Mr. Rugoff” Scheduled for the Palm Springs Film Festival

After the amazing premiere we had at DOC NYC, I’m pleased to announce that the next stop on the festival tour for “Searching for Mr. Rugoff” will be at the 2020 Palm Spring Film Festival, which will serve as the film’s West Coast Premiere. I’ve heard from so many of you that you wished you could have been at the first showings in New York, so here is your chance to participate in the celebrations. The screenings are as follows:

January 3
10:30 am
Camelot Theaters at the Palm Springs Cultural Center

January 8
6:45 pm
Regal Cinemas

January 9
2:00 pm
Palm Canyon Theater

Looking forward to sharing it with all of you.

  1. Hi Ira,
Congratulations on the film! Great reviews! i hope to see it! I always go to the PS festival- except I’ve been sick all month! I am coming to PS this weekend–but wish I could have seen the film at the festival with the fest. audience.
Let me know if you’ll be there Friday.
The poster is incredible!!! Reviews great! I feel so fortunate to have been at Cinema 5, got to know Don, but to have the freedom to be an “indie”- go to screenings with him, represent him at film fests, go to his class, have passes to NYC theaters, museums, screenings, festivals…all because Fred and Francis told him I wanted to be a film buyer and work in distribution.
Congratulations on the film! Can’t wait to see it!
